Kyle and Rachael’s Cleveland wedding was a beautiful expression of love. While some weddings celebrate decor, and other’s focus on food or atmosphere, Kyle and Rachel’s celebration was all about friendship, love, and their marriage. The love they have for … Continue reading →
A few weeks ago, I had the immense pleasure of photographing two of the people I love most in the world. Jess has been my best friend since my freshmen year of college, when I sent out a lonely tweet looking for a workout partner to go to the rec center with me. Jess joined me, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. (Incidentally, I don’t think we ever went to the rec center together again….)
Even though Jess moved to Cincinnati over a year ago to pursue a career, we’ve kept up with near constant texting, “HeyTelling,” and SnapChatting. And, of course, like any good best friends, we not only got engaged within a month of each other – our weddings are just 2 weeks apart!
I’m so thrilled that my best friend has found such a wonderful, godly man. Looking forward to a lifetime of friendship with you two!
So I realized a few days ago that, in the hustle of graduating, moving, and planning a wedding, my portfolio never did quite make it up on my blog. I figured it was about time to do that!
This is a final compilation of the work I’ve created over the past 4 years during my time as a student at OU, which I printed as a hardcover, cloth-bound book. I wish you could all see that book because it truly is a work of art! However, this will have to suffice. Thanks for looking.
Ok, totally shameless entry into a contest to win one of these bags. But, in all honesty, I’ve only heard good things about these bags, and I’d love a bigger (and much more stylish) way to carry my gear around. Especially when I’m shooting weddings/engagement portraits, it would be nice to have my gear be a little more inconspicuous. Don’t want to attract thieves (or small children!)
